I was wondering where she was.
Know what you mean--one viewing was enough for me! LSA
Well if I could edit it to scenes that actually belonged in the story....
Ack, poor Hair!
I didn't have to hear about crabs on the submarine in Enemy Below.
Huh...I never knew that! So planting marigolds in the cinderblock holes when using cinderblocks for a square-foot garden is about more than just makin' the border purty? I hadn't realized. Purty is a definite bonus, though...
Well, actually...
Ha! Probably not a bad idea...
Grr...if I had one more skein of that yarn, I could finish the yellow afghan today so's I'd have something warm for when we're watching Lost tonight. ;-) Only have seven more rows to go, but I'm pretty well out of yarn.
It's prolly a good idea to take some lessons first, so I don't end up shooting myself in the foot. *grin*
Yep. I guess insects don't like the smell. And at least some marigolds repel nematodes too.
Heh...this is true.
Though crazy-mother-with-a-gun is probably a pretty good deterrant whether or not you know how do do anything but brandish it. ;-)
Would you settle for the patron saint for happy marriages?
LOL! True!
We're putting in $2 apiece at work today for Saturday's Lotto drawing. $54 million jackpot.
It's a fool's hope, but it's still fun!
It ain't the same here without ya!
I done kilt the thread with a $54 million post!
Well the jury is out on how well marigolds actually 'repel' anything. They are strongly scented and the best read I can get is that they confuse the insects. I know that japanese beetles love the 'Flagstaff' variety (bonus points to anyone who knows why I just had to plant that variety - lol!) and it made it easier to pick them off and drown them in the coffee can of soapy water. But they left the peas alone.
Heh...they were protecting your peas.
(I was born in Flagstaff and went to college there. It is my most favorite town on Earth. )
Do they really grow to be 4'?
