Rats! I forgot the Swedish ivy cutting!
It was very warm here today! I was sweating when I took the girls to the playground earlier.
I would have enjoyed a cool crisp breeze, lemme tell ya!
That's probably about how I'll do eventually, except that I like my cell phone.
But for now...I'm trying to avoid getting anything hooked up until I have an income.
Still prayin' for that job to come through, chica.
And if not that one, a better one - so long as it comes quick! ;-)
Hey there!
Got home from PianoMoot around 1750...
mrsnad had called Randydowntheroad( neighbor who is a mountain of a man... seen him drag a full size bronco onto a flatbed gooseneck ... with his bare hands...) so getting the piano into the house was no problem...
Master Bowman, LSA, thank you again for your warm hospitality and excellent cuisine... I felt so at home from the moment LSA opened thedoor... Jim and I talked about what a wonderful couple your are... God bless yuh...
OT, good to see you as always... next time we'll do car bombs... promise...
gonna spend some time with thekids... post a pic of thepiano tomrrow...
g'nite all
Well, there's later this year when Jen's parents are inviting us up for a week. All expenses paid.
What? Y'all didn't get that email?
2J, great news...
lemme know if'n I havetuh "'fluece" Steve's 'structor...
in that case I'll be there...
Yeah, but you have to bunk with my little brothers. And cook for 'em too. And there are four of them.
Really? What's the dress code? ~snicker~
No strapless dresses...
Got some great deals at Value Village today - a complete set of four place settings - plates, bigger plates, glasses n' that - also some coffee mugs, a cover for the couch, a frame for my housewarming gift from SuziQ and SirKit (it's a big picture of my siblings playin' music during one of our moots!), a little tray stand that I'm using for the giant plant, and a pot for the little ivy that got left behind. Spent less than thirty dollars all told. Not too bad!
And I unloaded the van for the most part and started putting things away. I'm waiting on some of the kitchen stuff so I can line the cabinets with contact paper, and I haven't tackled clothing yet, but it's starting to look habitated over there.
Gotta conflict with that. It's family reunion weekend.
Got it (un)covered...
Even for those of us who have no intention of reaching for the bridal bouquet? ;~D
I'm keeping my fingers crossed on the one I interviewed for. I'm very aware that they wanted someone with more experience with server admin and possibly some programming experience, but I also know the pay isn't fantastic, which may mean they realize they need to train someone.
And it'd put me back where I'd like to be! I really would prefer something where I did more than *just* PC support. Doing more work with networks and servers would be great for me.
It may still be a week before I hear anything at all, though.
But I can't catch the bouquet without one! hehehe....
