Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And there are many paths to tread
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Which leads to my next technical question...
I am currently on the laptop trying to figure out a problem for the Mrs. When I log onto my account and Luke's account on the laptop, I have no (or little) trouble connecting to the Internet via the wireless.
However, under the Mrs' account, the Internet window will flash and quickly close, no matter how many tries or how I try to get to it.
I figured there was something in her account. So, we deleted the account and set her up with a new one.
Same problem happens. On hers. Only.
I'm clueless. It says the wireless is firewalled, but we've checked the appropriate exceptions and it doesn't keep the rest of us out.
As for the other problem, I'm going to try one of those long process fixes a bit later (or perhaps in the a.m.).
And, for those of you that were aware of the video project...that ain't gonna happen. But thanks.

I like that couch, Hair; I like the colors, especially that little bit of purple in it.

What kinda plant is that, Rosie? Do the leaves have little white spots on them? It kinda reminds me of a hibiscus.
Sounds like you're getting a house full of furniture, for not a lotta money! Good goin!

It's a begonia of some sort - I don't remember the exact name she mentioned. It has stems that almost look bamboo like, and then those hugh leaves. And if I remember right, she said it has pink flowers when it blooms, but it's between flowers right now.
To: SuziQ
Looks like it's one of the "angelwing" varieties of begonia, just doing a little Googling.
