We all know you'd buy tickets...
Most recent addtion was "Deanial: When you just can't handle the truth."
Ideas?
Discuss.
Aaaaagggghhhh!!!
~sniff~
You guys are so cool.
Steve finally got hold of the guy...he said there must have been some misunderstanding about the 2 more hours...yes, Steve has to have them. In other words, he lied to Steve. He told Steve that he didn't need any more hours to graduate. Steve asked him point blank because I was concerned about it. So now Steve has to sign up and pay for two more hours.
He hasn't heard anything back on the thesis.
Matthew drew a delightfully violent cartoon concerning the guy. It was so good I had him hide it in case someone finds it and has us arrested! LOL!
I feel almost out of optimism. I feel like we're swept up in some kind of scam. I don't even know what to do. The worst thing I can imagine is they don't let him graduate in May. All the things he needed to do with the thesis he could have gotten done last semester, but they never would return it to him and he never pressed the issue.
~gulp~
Sitting here listening to my yogurt maker clicking...I dn't know why...it does that now and then.
So, your address is the same except Hair's is A and yours is B?
Made your curry again tonight! Upped the curry dosage a bit...whew! Good stuff! Got plenty for tomorrow.
Just now 10pm here...might as well funkle.
No matter what, no matter how hard they try, they can't keep Steve from his degree forever. If he has to take two more hours, so be it. Know that you will call the guy a jack@ss to his face at your first opportunity, and reach serenity via that certain knowledge.
Now, in practical terms, what does "two more hours" mean? And if he takes the two more hours, and they reject his thesis, what will he have to do? And can he get it in writing?
It's a slough, sure enough ... but there's gotta be something gorgeous on the other side, right?
<laughing ... I'm gonna be a horrible old woman ...!>
I'm C - she's B.
Well, no, you really can't have too many engineer types. But we could use a doctor type to patch up all the results of engineering experiments.
Getting it in writing is going to be a priority from now on...this "He said" and "there must be some confusion" business has got to stop. We did discuss that this evening.
He'll likely have to take 2 more hours of "thesis" which is a class that he gets credit for but doesn't have to show up for. I don't know what will happen if they reject his thesis again this semester.
Ah. Gotcha.
I've still got your wedding invitation around here somewheres...I coulda looked on that but I'm too lazy.
What about a nurse??
;-)
Good night, sis!
Nurse is good! Are you equipped to remove appendages or appendices that we no longer want?
Night! I got to a good point in my coding so I will go to bed too. I think I can see the light at the end of this assignment... it's due Monday so I have to have it done Thursday night before I go see Talon.

Is this thing on?
Colleges let folks do independent study ALL the time. Heck, I'd think the work he's doing right now, and his after hours rainwater monitoring every day could be fashioned into some self-designed course, after all it IS in the field of study. It is ridiculous that he's been jerked around like this.
absolutely...
