Hey...I got signal! For a minute, anyway. No dataports in the hotel here, but apparently one of the nearby hotels has wireless. I was barely able to connect, and it's really slow, but I thought I'd wave at least!
Oh...and I got an e-mail today about one of the jobs I applied for. They want me to come in for an interview on Wednesday. Eek! But wouldn't it be great if things really did happen that fast?
I guess I can do some practicing in the car tomorrow. ;-)
The Saturday (4th?) before going to the House of Mouse, we'll be with other kinfolk in or near Plant City, and go to the Strawberry Fest. Expecting to arrive noon or 1:00-ish. My cousin etc. want to go to the free Steven Curtis Chapman concert that evening. I say "meh...but if you're going, I guess I'll go..."

I e-mailed the guy back with a time. Wish it wasn't after the end of the day, but not much I can do. If it's meant to be...
I asked for directions, and then realized that's gotta be a place everyone knows. I prolly look like a doofus. ;-) But maybe he'll take it to mean "directions once I arrive at the place".
It'd be pretty close by, huh? Not to get overly hopeful, but...that could be dandy!

If it's at the main memorial clinic (they do have a couple of branches) it's right near the big hospital... 15 minutes from here. I'll be able to tell if he gives directions or an address.
Trip's been going good, mostly. The cats have been kinda fussy at times, but mostly just when we first get going. And Tam of course has to examine any and all drawers and closets and such in the hotel room. He just about had a fit here because the shower has an actual door instead of a curtain and he couldn't get it open. *rolls eyes*
I did hit a bad rain and "wintry" mix stretch today, which is one reason I'm glad I didn't have to go any further today! Once I got to a lower altitude it changed to just rain, but pouring rain accompanied by lots of fog...really not fun, especially with tractor trailer trucks whizzing by.
