New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, |

Still round the corner there may wait |

Home is behind, the world ahead, |
HAHAHAHAHA!!
Bravo.
Pretty snow pictures, Corin. How much did Richmond get? Have you heard how much the PRC got? Or Mathews County?
Down in the 30's tonight in Miami.
Morning everyone.
Heh heh...I got an email back from Steve about the boxfan...he said my "Level-headedness is inspiring."
So I sent him Corin's verse.
Mornin' ... :-)
[sip]
Gonna be in the low thirties here for the next few nights too.
Mornin' to ya, hon.
*snort* He's gonna love that.
Stay warm!
Hi Sam!
It has been chilly the last couple of days. My mom has the heater on full-blast and it's given Alyson a bit of a cough.
I'm hoping the fresh air she's taking in at school will ease it a bit, even if the air is a bit cooler than normal. :-D
Chilly? Like your lows are approaching my highs? :-)
Sure you're going to be ok moving to Washington?
Oh I have no doubt the first few winters I will definitely freeze my butt off. :-)
But I'll get used to it eventually. I was born in Chicago after all! Walked thru snow to get to school even. ;-)
Ahem.
Oh, I thought she was talking about Iowa...
I ran the heat for a few minutes this morning, until my metabolism got going! Heat does dry the air out, hopefully Alyson will feel better. My nose always bleeds from the heat when I'm up north in winter, but I believe that happens even to those who are there full time.
Just clearing my throat is all. ;-)
I'll get a humidifier for the girls' room when I get up there, just to ease them into the change of climate.
I may even have to sit next to the thing for a while on some days!
Good, cuz if I'm moving to Iowa there'd better be compensations for temperature...
Certainly!
I have cats, they are very warm and cuddly...
>;-D
That remark sounds like it came straight out of Calvin and Hobbes! Are you sure you're not Calvin, now grown up?
;-)
