Just about to make some pumpkin bread. I've been trying to use up all the foods that Jen wouldn't necessarily use, and I figure pumpkin bread wouldn't be a bad thing to have along on the trip for snacks, too.

She feels great... she's very active and alert, causin' trouble with Pippin, but that lump is still very large. Just doesn't seem to bother her. We're about to do the wrap in a blanket thing for her antibiotic.

My wife made a remark the other day about the little dog sleeping on my chest...daughter, who is here at the moment, said not to worry about it, just think of the dog as a little heating pad, one that loves you. True enough!
It's true :~D My little dog was great for that... and the cats are too... they're a heating pad and a vibrating massager at the same time :~D
Glad she's not in any discomfort...except when you do the blanket thing, of course. ;-)
Mine just came RUNNING because I opened a can of pumpkin. Now...Tam had canned food for a few months when he was a baby, so I can kinda see him coming, but Halvah's never had it, and she STILL comes running.
I showed them a little of what it actually was, and Halvah stalked off in disgust. Tam gobbled it down. Forgot that he loves squash of any kind...the freak.
But the punkin bread is in the oven now! Smells nice already.

Went pretty good. She really hates it though. She spits out half of it, so we gave her twice as much ;~D

Yeah - it's not bubble gum this time... it's like Pina Colada or something. Smells like bananas and pineapple. Weird.
That ~is~ weird. Wonder why they changed it?
Not that it would make the administering of meds to a cat any easier. :-/
Shouldn't they make it taste like fish or something?
If it were made for cats I suppose they would..
