Actually, they ruled that the ball was loose BEFORE he knocked it out with his knee. Had the knee caused the ball to be loose, they would have had to rule it a fumble as the roll and attempted stand-up is considered a "football move".

I guess so...you have to agree that it doesn't look like that was the right call.It certainly looked like an interception from the rules that I was aware of, but the official cited a rule (like the tuck rule) that I had never heard of.

I was watching the game but when the Steelers made it look like a sure thing I came on FR to read the thread. Now I am holding my breath that the Steelers can hold on so the Broncos will be at home next week.
