What had Ditka done in football since the mid-80's?
The tuck rule was the correct call to make. It is a stupid rule but the officials don't get to editorialize on them by ignoring them.
On the same play Woodsen made contact with Brady's head which is an automatic 15 yeard penalty. (same play that the Pats lost a game back in 1976 to the Raiders) but the refs missed it. That would have been poetic justice.
EVERYTHING went against the Pats last night, the calls the turnovers; the Broncs got a coupla "gimme" TDs.
But I ain't complainin' the Broncs beat them fair and square; they played hard and took advantage of their opportunities.
Broncs win!
Pats loooooose!
Now, GO STEELERS!!!!!
Hey! You can slam Coach Dika like dat!!! Da Bears, da Bears, da Bears, da Bears . . .:o)

HA HA HA, ya, who would want a record like that....LOL /sarc
[Just glad NE is out]
Your assessment is correct. The Broncos did not pound the Patriots. The Patriots GAVE the game away despite moving the ball with ease and pretty much stifling the Broncos' offense. But in the end the team that scores more points wins, and the Broncos did a great job taking advantage of everything the Patriots gave them.
How does it feel to be screwed by the refs and have the game handed over to your opponents? Sux huh?
Congrats to the Steelers. Go kill them Broncos for us.
er, little premature there, sport! HA!!! I LOOOOOVE this game!!
So....as a Raiders fan to Steelers fans...tell me:
How does it feel to be screwed by the refs and have the game handed over to your team?
The refs TRIED to give the game to NE, but they wouldn't take it.
Make that a Raiders fan to a Pats fan....
"Go Steelers!"
You can say "dat" again! G'mornin' Bro!
I believe this is true.....that when the NFL went to the regular season overtime in 1974. The Steelers and the Broncos played the first overtime game and it ended in a tie.
What a match up! I can't wait. She'll be a dog fight.
Broncos Smoncos!
