Doesn't this just say "Hey we're more interested in protecting child molestors than helping you!"? The language says they wouldn't be doing a thing if they were'nt "required" by federal law. Ask you Congressman/woman to see that HR 2423 The Sex Offender Notification and Accountability Act, or this type of mockery will never end.

This is no surprise. NAMBLA was contributor to Dean's gubernatorial campaigns and they were rewarded. If it had not been caught by some astute lawmaker's, laws would have passed making it legal for men to have consentual sex with 12 year old boys there.
