I wasn't going to do any time issues this week, so I'll just "wonder" why it seems to take Curtis and company so much longer to get back to CTU than it took them to get to the hospital. And where the DHS chick is that is so far away from CTU, I thought CTU was conveniently located next to everything :->
I can't even really bother to explain the issues with this episode, it's too obvious. Just a list:
10) No way the building has sealed rooms but with open vents.
9) No way Baur runs through the gas and his clothes don't pick up enough to kill him, especially since having the door open for only a second or two let enough gas in to kill Rudy and the Guard.
8) In fact, it shouldn't have. No air is moving, and if they were in a sealed room it actually would have had positive pressure so clear air should have move OUT of the room. Also, why didn't the guard just cover himself with his jacket and breath the air inside.
7) Or better yet, take all the trash bags out of the trash can and use them as large balloons.
6)Or run out of the room and try to run to a place where the air will get suctioned quicker.
5) Can you really knock the doctor out twice in 30 minutes like that?
4) Who put the program on the computer to make it hard to vent?
3) Where did they vent that gas? We get a little anthrax in a mail room, and I think they STILL haven't reopened years later :->
I think this episode had some of the best lines this year. I was laughing at several of Chloe's lines, which I won't get right:
1) OK, I help, if the rest of you will stop acting like idiots.
2) Shrinks tell you to do stuff they would never do
3) What's up with you and breathing
4) Well, I woke up with a man I'll probably never see again, and I watched my best friend die, so I guess not so well
Jack's line "It is NOT easy for me" was a good one too.
Those lines were classic for sure.
For that matter, why not find a bathroom, rip out the water hose, send the hose through the toilet trap to just breath clean sewer air?
You're right! almost ridiculous...
