After Jack gets the Olympic Gold medal for breaking distance records running from the Chinese, they'll kill him off as he is dropped out of a plane over Mecca with a back pack full of 40 pounds of C4.

I actually think the writers are overdoing the "kill everyone" shtick. This season started out great but Palmer, Michelle, Edgar and Tony is a bit over the top. There is a point where it loses shock value and becomes caricature.
