No. Palmer suspected there was a traitor inside the Logan Administration. Turned out to be the Secret Service man who fed the enemy intel. I would have shot him between the eyes without a trial had I learned what he was up to. A traitor is more dangerous than the enemy since he wears the mask of a loyal friend and undermines his country from within by his own conscious disloyalty. Such should be the wages of treason and the just fate of a traitor should be a swift, painful death, dear friends.

That's the one. The bad guys are always too good to be true as we subsequently discover in subsequent episodes. "24" is one of those rare shows that somehow, seems to get better each season. The first four hours made for riveting television and the day only got started when sleeper enemy agent "Yellow Tie" uncovered the caseload of Russian nukes smuggled into this country. Oooh, muy bad!

Product placement is fun to watch on this show. Did you catch the 'Minute Maid' orange juice, or notice the make/model of the vehicles? Now the commercials are part of the show...there is NO escape.

Of course it may also turn out that President Logan knew about the terrorist plots and President Palmer's intel and then planned and set up everything that's happened as part of his master plan to save the world. In the end the plan will work and he will be revealed as having had one moment of brilliance.

I wouldn't put any bizarre twist past these writers!
