Bred to hunt lions or tigers if I'm not mistaken. Anyway... poodle = football is in reference to the little yippy yappy ones. The big ones are actually pretty scary when they get pissed because they can be just as vicious as the little ones... only bigger and heavier. I agree with you 100%.

Wrong. They are basically sport water dogs.

And Poodles are not French. They are German. I guess they're called "French" cuz it's the French who seemed to come up w/the froo-froo looks and just make them fashion dogs.
