Reese Witherspoon was the winner of the leading lady award at the People's Choice ceremony in Los Angeles. Sandra Bullock and Jennifer Garner also won actress awards.(snip)

Jessica Simpson was one of the performers at the awards, which were voted for by the public.(snip)

Brad Garrett looked surprised at winning as he and Ray Romano collected the favourite TV comedy award for Everybody Loves Raymond.

I saw Reese in "Legally Blonde" a few weeks ago on cable. It was a cute chick flick.

I always enjoy Reese Witherspoon's acting, except 'Vanity Fair'. It was a real downer. My only problem is that lately she's been in so many films that she seems a bit overexposed, in the acting sense. If anyone is a Reese Witherspoon aficionado, check out a film from the nineties called 'A Far Off Place'. A bit frightening for very young ones but spellbinding for 8+ and adults will enjoy it too.

I'm not a movie watcher (at least movies not over 30 years old). But I do wanna see the Johnny Cash flick. And Reese as a brunette looks nice.

same plot line as "Ray" - but Witherspoon and Phoenix give admirable performances
