Wishful thinking. Serenity cost $40 million to make, only took in $25 million.

That's $25 million at the boxoffice, that does not count DVD sales.

Serenity exists because the TV box sets made a few small fortunes in dvd sales. I promise you if Serenity brings in 75 or more million in dvd sales there will be another movie. And indeed, today Serenity is ranked the #3 best-seller at amazon.com ( http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/new-for-you/top-sellers/-/dvd/130/ref=pd_ts_tb_h/104-6775649-8917507 )

I saw the movie three times and I got the CD as a gift for Christmas. I hope they can do another TV series AND a movie.

Here's to hoping that somebody decides to pick the series back up, anybody but Fox. Fox doesn't have a clue on how to wait on a show to develop, never has and never will. Most of the good shows don't start with gimmicks.
