Yikes. A week or so ago, I found someone I had dated over 10 years ago and exchanged emails with her. By the third one, I was reminded why I gave up on her.

Regardless, things are NEVER as good as you remember them to be.

An old girlfriend of my hubbys sent him an email a while back. She found his email on his alma mater web site.

He of course sent it to me along with his reply to her. After exchanging emails back and forth, me included, he also was reminded of the mental state of this gal.

Needless to say its been more than a year since they have exchanged emails.

I agree. It's never the same, but still I enjoy IM with them. And having 600 miles between us prevents me from having to meet for coffee etc. But it is great to see what they've done with their lives.

But are they as BAD as you remember them? I never did get the hang of those things until I got together with Mrs.Chandler. We seem to be meant for each other.

I went to my 30th high school reunion a couple years ago. Ran across some old crushes (I had a new crush every week when I was young). Most of them were old and burned out. I really dodged some bullets. I did run across my 8th grade crush, who was very nice and is happily married herself. It was great to see her as happy as I am.
