Kidding of course, I use both, and though each has their flaws, they are very good operating systems.
Great article, n3wbi3! As usual, thanks for the ping.
I've used Windows since I guess Windows 3.0, and currently running XP Professional at home. I have no problems finding any software I want, downloading it, and installing it without much trouble.
However, I've tried to download software for this Mac G5 running OS 10.4.something, and I'm told various errors over and over again, so I finally gave up. I don't know why anyone says MAC is easier than Windows, as that's obviously a lie. Windows is much more intuitive. You want to find your documents? Go to "My Documents". You don't have to open "Macintosh HD", then click on "Documents", then find what you're looking for. If you're going to complain about "themes" or "colors" put into a default install of Windows, why not complain about putting the sound/video/nic/usb/monitor/etc all in one unit? Just do what I do, make your subdir of your family photos your screen saver, and put a picture of your kids as your desktop - POOF - instant theme.
There's a reason Microsoft Windows is the DOMINANT operating system, and it ain't just the bullying that Bill Gates (et al) does from Redmond - it's just plain EASIER to use, and ADAPTABLE to what you need.
