Cy, short for Cyclops, a kitten born with only one eye and no nose, is shown in this photo provided by its owner in Redmond, Oregon. The kitten, a ragdoll breed, which died after living for one day, was one of two in the litter. Its sibling was born normal and healthy. (AP Photo/Traci Allen) (January 06, 2006)

So sad...little kitty. The eyes aren't usually open at one day. I hope the kitty saw enough to last him one of his lives.

EEEWWWWWWWWWW, poor thing. I'm glad it died, it would have lived the life of a freak if it hadn't.

Mutant Kittens have a better chance at life than 1000's of infants get every year. Sad about the kitty, Sadder about us as a people.

How would a cat have known it was a freak? You make no sense.

It's this type of genetic mutation that the Evol-Doers are pinning their hopes on. Just wait a couple of million years and all cats will have one eye.

You make no sense...two eyes provide the most coverage against predators.

Two eyes close together, like a cat, provide depth perception, for predators.

A cat is a predator just as much as an eagle-type is a predator against a cat.

You might think so, but according to the Evol-Doers, you never know.

I am not a supporter of Evolution myself. I think all mutations are negative.

Or dear... that is a kitten only Steven King could love. I know what you're saying...cause his little back fangs were already growing out...that happens with all kitties and puppies...but there was something in this little one's eye...

I sound goofy, and I know it!

I think that AP was snookered - kittens' eyes aren't open after only one day. Besides, with no nose, how did he smell?
