With the exception of Jesus, everybody in the whole series are either drug dealers, druggies, racists, homosexuals, crooks, having an affair or screwed up. Most seem to be a combination of all the above.

Actually, I'm inclined to think God has a sense of humor. I'd much rather believe that than think he would set the rules where he simply demands we worship him, yet gives no absolute, concrete proof of his existence.
