I would think any of the women that Michael gave his herpes to might disagree with him being a good role model.

It's good that he is gone from the team. He was bad for the program. I respect Beamer for letting him go (although I suspect it was a mutual decision and Vick will now enter the draft).

I have no doubt he'll go on to be an over rated QB in the NFL, like his brother.

I can think of only one thing right now:

J-E-T-S! Jets! Jets! Jets!

Serves 'em both right.

Marcus Vick faces new charges in Hampton

Police in Hampton have charged Marcus Vick with speeding and driving with a revoked or suspended driver's license. Authorities say Vick was stopped in the 700 block of Settler's Landing Road in Hampton between 2:00 and 3:00 o'clock the morning of December 17.  According to court records, Vick was accused of going 38 miles per hour in a 25 mph zone.

This is the latest in a list of troubles for the star quarterback.

In 2004, Vick pleaded no contest to one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor stemming from a party at his apartment earlier in the year. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail, but that sentence was suspended. Vick also pleaded guilty in New Kent County to reckless driving and no contest to marijuana possession.

Virginia Tech suspended Vick for the 2004 fall semester because of all his run-ins with the law. He was allowed to return to the school and the team last spring.

Yes, he is being sued, and the outcome is up in the air. Of course, he is a good mark for such suits, he has the big bucks.

If guilty than yes, bad role model. But, the jury is out.

As for his younger brother you can only hope this will help the team. While after the win I had high hopes for a great year, and frankly still do, I think of all that has been thrown away by Vick and how it over all effect's the program.
