Marcus Vick faces new charges in Hampton

Police in Hampton have charged Marcus Vick with speeding and driving with a revoked or suspended driver's license. Authorities say Vick was stopped in the 700 block of Settler's Landing Road in Hampton between 2:00 and 3:00 o'clock the morning of December 17.  According to court records, Vick was accused of going 38 miles per hour in a 25 mph zone.

This is the latest in a list of troubles for the star quarterback.

In 2004, Vick pleaded no contest to one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor stemming from a party at his apartment earlier in the year. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail, but that sentence was suspended. Vick also pleaded guilty in New Kent County to reckless driving and no contest to marijuana possession.

Virginia Tech suspended Vick for the 2004 fall semester because of all his run-ins with the law. He was allowed to return to the school and the team last spring.

The Virginia Court records website states he was arrested for this incident, although this story does not.

Seems to me if he was arrested, he probably shouldn't have even been playing in the Gator Bowl.
