Which one are you?
FRmail me if you want on or off the F/S Singles' Thread Ping List. It will only be used for pinging to the official thread, and will never be used for any other purpose.

This is a thread for singles, not a thread about the misery of singleness -- no moping allowed! :-)

Free Republic is the premier online gathering place for independent, grass-roots
conservatism on the web. We're working to roll back decades of governmental largesse,
to root out political fraud and corruption, and to champion causes which further conservatism in America.
And we always have fun doing it. Hoo-yah!

haunt but aunt That one's debatable -- I say it like "ant," but others do say it like "haunt."

Well, I am about to dump a lady that I have been dating for the past two months. She is 20 years my senior (go ahead, mock me, she's still hot), but is SUFFOCATING me. Besides, I'm starting up something new with two other ladies and I'll be moving soon anyway. You serious, Clark?

It doesn't matter how you say it, the important thing is that you say it, and that you believe in what you're saying, LOL!

Good evening! Happy New Year to anyone I missed last week!
How's the new place, Scott? Are the cats settling in now that they've had a bit more time?
To: scott7278

This is my choice.

Are the cats settling in now that they've had a bit more time? They're fine now. The one is pressed up against me, and who knows what trouble the other one is getting in right now?

I'm moving too, albeit not to Texas. Have met lots of lovely ladies in San Antonio.

Nice pic. I had a bat in my living room once. It was the scariest experience--had a get a guy over to whack it for me.
To: scott7278
This isn't our little friend; but we had one for 9 years. His name was Mister; and my brother made him a huge cage...which he slept in. He owned six kids; so he was never lonely.

I stole this picture from the ninnynet. I don't have one picture of Mr. My sister has several; but they're all b&w snapshots.

You actually kept one as a pet? Was he tame?
To: rightwingintelligentsia
Yes. A friend of my sister spent summers gold mining up in the Caliveras County. In fact, he and his friend won the Jumping Frog contest several times! They came upon two little pinkies with a dead mother. Leonard, the friend, brought Mister to my sister...Mister's little sister died, but we kept Mister for years. He loved pinion nuts most of all.
They'd probably arrest us now (They usually live less than five years in the wild.).

BTW; Since I just got my keyboard back, I will use the opportunity to wish you a happy new year!
