Free Republic is the premier online gathering place for independent, grass-roots
conservatism on the web. We're working to roll back decades of governmental largesse,
to root out political fraud and corruption, and to champion causes which further conservatism in America.
And we always have fun doing it. Hoo-yah!

Hey goodgirl
I know the feeling
I didn't decorate that much this year
I took everything down several days ago and stacked it in a corner and it still sits there!
We will both be on the page this week end

Hi, hope you are recovering from your recent loss. Doing better?
I'm very tired tonight as well. Long and busy week. It was thoughtful of you to check in.
Just checking in myself, teenage girls in the living room so I won't stay long. :)
To: scott7278
Actually, I don't think two counts. Needed to drive home ya know!
How're the new digs? Cat settling in any better?

Hi!
Didn't know you were here. I'd seen you've been busy with a good friend of mine from Germany! Good job, nice try. I did my best as well.
To: TheresaKett
Hey, Theresa. Well, I must tell you that I know how you feel. It is rough. I want to also tell you that it does get better. My children told me this year that this was the best Christmas that they have had since their father died almost 5 years ago. This was our fifth Christmas without him.
That is not to say that I did not think about him a lot and talk to him. Some of the conversations were funny, too. Especially about the budget and how I was having trouble with it. Poor Phillip. We had more "discussions" over the Christmas budget than over anything else in our entire married life. I just know that he was sending lightening bolts down at me a few times this season, but I kept telling him I would do better next year.

He is much better, thank you. He is still on the second round of antibiotics and ear drops, but has his appetite back and finally does not have a temperature.
To: tuliptree76
I'm flippin' through the channels tonight, but nothing appeals to me.

Hey! I've been around. Haven't posted on this thread in a long time. Only posted once in fact.
Just thought I'd check in and see what's happening with all you wild freepers tonight :)
To: MotleyGirl70

Nothing on TV appealed to me, so I just came online.
