On New Year's Eve my wife and I saw "Walk the Line". I thought the crowd would be small because the movie has been out for a while, but every seat was full for the next to last show. People will still pay to see a worthwhile movie, and I'm betting this one will draw more Academy nominations than the sheepherder fiasco, which was also playing at the same 30-screen monster theater.

The big story (Scam) is actually that the movie has "grossed" less than 20 million dollars..thats dollars not people...People are not seeing the movie despite proclaimation of it being a "Cultural Phenom"!
