The scent glands & territory marking might be a turnoff!

Anyone that would ram a moose with a snowmobile has to be called into question mentally.

He was just trying to eradicate the moose-limbs from his region.

Hold all calls please, we have a winner!

(Though I think Restorer is right too - perhaps the reason the moose couldn't escape was he kept tripping on all those LaBatt's cans.)

I heard of a lady once who ended up with a dead camel's head through the windshield of her rental car. And, even more oddly, it happened on the Eastern shore of Maryland. Seems the camel bolted from a live Nativity scene along Route 50. I'd hate to have to explain that to the insurance company.

After serving his time, Norris will be on probation for two years and be prohibited from hunting for five years.

He was also banned from returning to his summer job of clubbing baby seals.

A man from Newfoundland and Labrador has received a two-month prison term for charging a moose with a snowmobile and killing it with an axe.

OK, I'm willing to go out on a limb and say that somebody has some issues here...

"Man to serve two months for 'heinous' snowmobile attack on moose"

"[Norris] has received a two-month prison term ..."

"After serving his time, Norris will be on probation for two years and be prohibited from hunting for five years. "

In other news, 1,000 poor Newfie teens received legal and safe abortions. Licensed doctors vacuumed, dismembered or poisoned human babies living in their mother's wombs.

It is expected that 40% of the teens will require counseling later during life, but this will not be required by any judge -- the girls will have to live with their decision on their own. They will also not be prohibited from spreading their legs to any Tom, Dick, or Harry who tells them he loves them.

I was wondering the same thing. I mean Moose are huge! They also can be extremely aggressive. I kind of think this guy had help from the others. They would need to keep the moose busy while the creep rammed it from the rear. Even then it would be a dangerous maneuver.

Moral ABsolutes Ping.

I certainly don't intend to ping the list to every immoral act committed that's posted on FR. I'd do nothing but post articles all day long, and you'd all want off the pinglist.

But just to make my comment: cruelty to animals is cruelty to one of God's creatures and is reprehensible. Animals feel pain, experience fear and loneliness, and if tame (and sometimes even if not very tame) can respond to love and affection. Think of St. Francis of Assisi.

Freepmail me if you want on/off this pinglist.

Also cruelty to animals is a precursor to worse things at times, or a symptom of dark internal sickness.
