All the fawning leftie reviews and the millions in advertising isn't saving this stinky leftwing propaganda from flophood.
May the gay cowboy movie meet the same fate.

Clooney has one big problem with his movies: more than half the viewing public will not pay a cent to see anything he is involved in because he is a nitwit communist. A nitwit first, communist second. Lots of these hw fools are unsellable, and will end up hanging out with Jimmy Carter, validating the last of the communist dictators elections in third world pissholes.

May the gay cowboy movie meet the same fate. You got that right. Glad to see these libbie films like "Jarhead", "Brokeback Mountain", "Syrianna", "Munich" and "Paradise Now" are not exactly setting box office records.
They keep trying to say that box office returns are bad because of DVDs, etc., yet a lot of movies (not geared toward the left) are making tons of money.

Steven Hunter of the Washington Post certainly isn't. Anyone who could invent Earl Swagger or his son, "Bob The Nailer" simply doesn't chug c@ck.....

I never planned to see this one but we did see The Producers as soon as we could and what a let down. We were prepared to love it, we expected to love it and it is a flop, as far as we are concerned. Nathan Lane gives his all but he is not enough to save it. Matthew Broderick is fair in his role and Uma Thurman is adequate. the song and dance numbers aren't very appealing and they go on for ever, even so I can't remember a single song.

Don't know that guy. Then again, I try avoiding most things, other than Krauthammer, associated with that rag.

Hard to lump Munich and Brokeback Mountain in with Syriana and Jarhead at this point. They are both just beginning to go into wide release. I don't figure that Brokeback Mountain will do very well, but Munich certainly stands a good chance.
Syriana was disappointing for many reasons. Its strong leftist bent being cheif among them. But also as the article mentions the trailer makes it look very good when it is just very boring. Traffic was a good movie though.

I can think of a couple that did OK Cabaret was wonderful on stage and screen (I just lost my train of thought on the other one).
We were expecting the Producers to be as good as Chicago and it isn't even close.
