I never planned to see this one but we did see The Producers as soon as we could and what a let down. We were prepared to love it, we expected to love it and it is a flop, as far as we are concerned. Nathan Lane gives his all but he is not enough to save it. Matthew Broderick is fair in his role and Uma Thurman is adequate. the song and dance numbers aren't very appealing and they go on for ever, even so I can't remember a single song.

we did see The Producers as soon as we could and what a let down.I loved the original movie with Zero Mostel and Gene wilder. I might borrow the remake when a relative rents it.

"The Producers" <PHave you seen the original with Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder? If not, I suggest to rent or buy that one and watch it. One of the classics. Remakes are usually turkeys
