BACK TO THE FUTURAMA: Variety is reporting that 20th Century Fox TV is in early discussions to go back into production with Futurama, the Emmy-winning animated series that ran on Fox from March 1999 to August 2003, giving it a Family Guy-style resuscitation. Based on the misadventures of Fry, Leela and Bender, Futurama is set in the year 3000, at which time Lindsay Lohan will have stopped making "news." But until then...

I hope they do, I was just thinking about it the otherday that they should bring it back. I watch it all the time on the cartoon network and It has a large following.

Interesting. I personally enjoy both Family Guy and Futurama. I wasn't in to it when it came out initially, so all the episodes I record off of Cartoon Network are new to me...

Great, as long as they don't put it back at 7:00 or 7:30 Sunday, where it got clobbered by late-running football every week.

I wish they would put "firefly" back on. It had some strong themes about large, pushy governments.

Woot! It's looking more and more likely that another of the good comedies is coming back. Now, if they can just convince the writing staff that their "Once a season episode that preachs about environmentalism" are generally the weakest of the season, we'd be set.

Okay, now I start working on getting "Arrested Development" another season...

If they're going to bring Gore's trite daughter back as a writer, I'd rather they let it die.

Oh come on, you got to love a series set a 1000 years into the future where among other things, Nixon (as a head in a jar) was re-elected as President (of the Earth).

I bought a multi region dvd player, and the imported R2 UK discs over 2 years before they were released here in the US.

One of the best animated (technically and intellectually) toons ever made!

If FG has 2 shows at the same so should MG and company!!! Cerially what kinda secondary marketing is there gonna be for American Dad?? Plush Roger the Galien dolls??

Futurama has sooooo much more marketing potential.
Bring back Futurama or bite my shiny metall @$$

Loved the joke in the last AD episode about how the Home Builders Organization wouldn't be interested in helping the Bluths. But I have heard that Showtime is interested and I believe at least one regular network (I think ABC but not sure). Not sure where I would prefer it. Some of the jokes are better because they strategically bleep words. I guess they could still do it on Showtime.

Did you see the Arrested Development show the other night!

HBO, the Home Builders Association, the 3D, the Desperate-ness, the "live" ending.

They are having fun, the show is great, pity so many idiots don't get it.
