Given the following features, where are the best communities in the US for conservatives?
Tok, Alaska.
Upstate SC
Never heard of it.. if you are serious, what makit desirable. I thought Alaska is very expensive... Thanks
The White House.
Anywhere in Wyoming, except Jackson.
Black Hills in South Dakota.
Panama City Beach, FL.
Carson City, NV. You have access to Sierra Nevada Mountains that cross into California. Good thing is that you live in a state with low taxes, offering an array of outdoor activities, whether you hunt, fish, hike, ski, etc...
It's a small community and still is the State Capital of Nevada. The whether is seasonal. You get snow, rain, heat, etc...
There are a variety of lakes, and in the summer you can go to the mountains to cool off in one of the mountain rivers or lakes. Overall, it's a conservative community in northern Nevada. It's nothing like Las Vegas.
Houston??? where are the mountains? Thanks
Check out Utah!
No state income tax, favorable, mild weather throughout the year, excellent geography (near the center of America), and plenty of jobs and cheap housing. TN is literally a gold mine, and if Gov Doyle is re-elected by brain-dead cheeseheads here in WI, I'm hitting the road.
I have been very interested in learning more abouit Wyoming and S Dakota...any other advice or insights?
Not for long. Many companies moving into to TN, bringing in many wealthy liberals. Property taxes are bound to go up, and slowly freedoms will be restricted.
On New Year's Day, we went for a three hour boat ride on The Lake and had a picnic with several other neighboring boaters on the Lake. Ssssh, don't tell liberals. They'll bring their RAP friends into the neighborhood.
Anything in the next county over from Pittsburgh, especially Westmoreland and Washington counties.
I say this with tongue only half in cheek...Riverside County, CALIFORNIA....Googleize our demographics, and you'll see we're as Red-state, or more, than many flyover states.
We've got everything you could desire in your first sentence above....re the second sentence - well, we've got a bit of work to do - but Prop. 13 still lives!!
Never considered Carson City , NV... you make it saound promising... thank you...
Definately East Texas! We're all a bunch of Conservative's out here!
Anywhere in Central Pennsylvania.
