One division victory in two years? Probably the worst Raider team since '62 (when they went 1 - 13). It's been all downhill for this franchise since Al Davis started public feuding with Marcus Allen in the mid-80s. Yeah, they've had some pretty good seasons since then, and even (luckily) made it to the Big Dance in '02 (only to be slaughtered by the Bucs), but the days of Long, Alzado, Matuzak, Sistruck, Stabler, Lamonica, Plunkett, Otto, Upshaw, Shell, Branch, Belitnikoff, Casper, Hayes, Brown, Allen, Hubbard, Guy, Blanda. .....long gone. The "Raider mystique" is dead.
Big Surprise...
Couldn't have happened to a better guy. Al Davis has been a cancer in the NFL for years, and I'm delighted to see him getting his due now.
"Thank God" said this 30+ years Broncos fan!

Very true, the Raiders have not adapted well to the world of free agency and a salary cap. They are very much stuck on a "win now" panic mode and that is no way to build a winner.
You are so right!
