A Purification Ceremony
Well, Sir, I heard they took some water from the river
(cause the water’s holy to them)
splashed it around the temple where you had been.
They said it wasn’t you who bothered them
‘twas those danged sniffer dogs
you brought to them.
I suppose if they came here
and dragged a cow with them into
the National Cathedral in Washington
(cause cows are holy to them)
and our guys hung cowbells on them
just to keep tract of them
while they wandered round the isles
into the Apse, swinging their tails
with holy glee
while letting go with a pee
we might get just a little bit angry!
So, dear Mr. President we have a dilemma
Holy Cows, and Holy Water
your sniffer dogs caused a national shame,
do cultures really mix, I wonder.
Shoes gotta come off
in our churches we keep ‘em on
we have Holy Water , too
but no Holy Cows in our midst
(at least that I’m aware of)
we have a Cross,
where a sacrificial lamb did die.
Rose from the grave in triumphant praise.
I guess I can’t be too, smart alecky with this
it touches too, many rituals
close to so many.
Any way Mr. President, thank you
for being the good man you are.

Well, you certainly did try and did very good. I wonder if someone at the White House reads what goes on at FR? From some of his speeches I gather that someone listens to Mike Savage so perhaps they do.
