If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Yes, I do see that. Sure hope your prayers are answered soon.

I looked out in my back yard the other day, Snow Drops are making their way through the old oak leaves, we have no snow on the ground.

  The Silence

 The silence of the forest
evokes a calming of the soul
 Standing neath a giant
 I feel very small
There are things mightier than me
 as nature constantly reminds me...
that I am, but a grain of sand
 in the entire scheme.

It's good to know I'm not in charge
 a terrible onus it be
my job is small you see
 and it's enough for me.

I gather words from the sky
and lay them in a row
 I hope people understand
I have no where else to go.
But to morph into the background
to write a poesy or two
then put it some shape or form
to lay it down for you.

    Mountain Stream

Cold, cold water flowing fast, spilling over ancient rounded stones,
along the twisted bed of a river engraved before man walked this land.
Coming from high mountain ice high above the trees, over earths bones,
dropping cataracts of leaping spray fall to the seas below to waiting sand.

Evergreen monarchs march down the stony hills into aspens standing prime,
as wind whispers amid the giants singing of ages beyond this moment and the next.
The icy flow of the melted blood of mother earth runs on down the slope of time,
leaping, flowing where it may with easy grace that can not be held or vexed.

Flowing in halls of overhanging oaks, to meander through the silent elms below,
feeding the land as it flows, nurturing love, under a suns warming touch at last.
The river widens into the sea, amid delta islands of settled silt, weeds, and times flow,
to meet, merging waters of this surging pool of life, and ocean flows take it into the past.
