My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

I'm doing great Miss Feather . . . the creative side of my brain is still locked up . . . but, other than that, I'm doing just fine . . .LOL!!!
So, in the meantime I'll post someone else's creative impulses and wait for mine to re-flower . . . ;-)
Good night Miss Feather all who come to The Lair . . . Hope to see you tomorrow.

Morning,
if today I do not greet you
with my usual gusto,
ready to see what you have in store for me,
It is not my fault.
Your sister Night
teased me in my sleep,
nudging me just enough
that I thought she was Miss Twilight,
and how long I lay there,
not quite asleep,
not quite awake,
as Night dragged it out forever.
And now I sit here,
heavy eyed,
and wish for the rest
she took from me.
Ah well. Perhaps Lady Midday
will look upon me kindly
and gift me with a nap.

Lovely good morning words, Knitting. Your muse must be turned on all the time. Mine gets distracted from little annoying thoughts of life in general.

The little annoying thoughts of life are often what sparks me to write.
Freeverse comes natural.
The structured stuff, though, is harder work!

Some amusements I wrote in another place....
Alas and alack, just consider
pronunciation's blue and green litter,
does scarf rhyme with dwarf,
or could it just morph
into some philological glitter?

Someone rhymed scarf with dwarf, and I just had to react...I don't know if that person pronounced them the same way, but to me, dwarf rhymes with morph! I don't like spelling rhymes that don't sound the same...pet peeve...

Yes, that is an odd rhyming scheme.
I have to agree with you on the dwarf and morph.
