I dunno.

The guy and his team had lots of problems this year, from ticket scalping to whizzinators to sex boats to an all-pro QB going down.

And his team still finished with a winning record, although not making the playoffs.

How many of the other non-playoff teams are firing their coaches?

Without the scandals and ticket scalping he might have survived. Then again, this is a new owner who might have wanted to start fresh.

Saw a crawl on ESPN that Martz and the guy with the Texans (forgot his name) are also out.

Dom Capers is the Texans' (apparently former) head coach.

Were it not for the scandals he'd probably still have a job.

Bill Parcells should be fired. Chan Galley Regular season winning pct was 0.563 in two seasons, Bill Parcells winning pct in three is 0.521. Now, I agree that Chan had more to work with and the team was on a down tick, but I doubt Jerry forked over the cash for this.

I don't think Gailey should have been fired after just two seasons, especially since he took them to the playoffs after both, but you've got to be kidding me. Parcells has led the Cowboys to two winning seasons in three years after three straight 5-11s. This team will be dangerous next year with Flozell Adams returning and hopefully a wide receiver to stretch the field.

At least the Vikes decided to do more today than just collect a paycheck, which is a lot more than I can say about the Cowboys and Falcons.

A lot of teams out there that wish they were 9-7 will be keeping their coach.

Just announced: Tice hired by Jaguars as Assistant Head Coach. May take over offensive line coach position as well... but that hasn't been announced yet.
