dang....had company show up during the game....so....don't people realize this is bowl time? lol
yep...
pretty much LSU kicked Miami's butt 2 times....
LOL
well the games haven't really interested me today so far, so I turned it over to watch the Ohio State Basketball game.
They came back from 15 down with 3 minutes to go to win on a 3 pointer 78-76 against LSU.
nice pick by ISU.
wow! My other passion! College basketball! GO POKES
Frogs looking good! Tulsa hanging in there...good defense.
If a man had enough beer, I believe the problem could be minimized .... ;-)
yeah....
the wife has commandeered the TV by the computer, so I am going to have to retreat downstairs to watch anything :(
well...yes....but dang it! lol
TD ISU, 14-7 now.
sigh....TD ISU
I wish I could help you, but Flyer just left my house with a pickup truck full of beer. Something about, "I need a few for the road."
I had a feeling the Frogs were cheating a little on D, bringing the safeties up a little. ISU caught 'em. It won't be that easy next series, though.
DO I sense you are for the Frogs?
I thought you were a big 12 fan?
"I guess my gripe is the belittlement of the Big 12 this year and I chose to compare them to another conference I follow."
Fair enough, and I agree with you that the conference denigrations get way out of hand each year. I think the Big 12 was primed to get bad-mouthed by everybody this year, just because of the last couple BCS title games, so everybody jumps on them. The reality is, there is tremendous balance across college football, even when you include the so-called 'mid-majors' who can be pretty good too. Heck, you look at what Georgia Tech did against Auburn, Miami, and Georgia, and then you see Utah wax their ass the other night. It's not that big of a fluke for those teams to win games against BCS teams. Thus far, the Big 12 has proved themselves impressively, as their teams have stepped up and done well in their bowl games. The Big 10 will probably end up with a lousy bowl record this year, but they aren't really that bad, it just happens. Michigan lost close, Minnesota lost close, Northwestern was in their game for most of it.
On another note, good luck to the Buffs with their new coach. One of my good friends went to Colorado, so we always talk about the program. Coaching makes ALL the difference in college football, so if this is good, Colorado will be back to prominence in short order.
Mike, this is the one day of the year where the newspapers make excuses for domestic violence.
Seize the moment.
Safety ISU, 14-9
I am. My niece is a TCU grad....so I'm a bit torn. Looks like ISU has their mojo going, now.....
now.....>>>>
Yep for now, I like calling ISU the Michigan of the Big 12.
LOL
Why?
She can have the 19 inch TV...
