I wanna get a new 'puter this year, too. I have a laptop...but it's old and clunky and doesn't really work on battery anymore.
But I don't have a fire. I'm rather envious of you there!

Do you have any recommendations for laptops?
I am thinking Toshiba, Dell, Alienware & IBM too but more expensive
I would love to get a IBM Thinkpad
My PC, a fossil now is IBM and I have NEVER had one lick of trouble with it
