The Cocks really got whacked!

Got to be for Miami. Haven't forgiven Miles for leaving the Pokes, yet. I hold a grudge way too long.....

Isn't it strange that the bowl games won't be on New Years Day? The pro teams should play tomorrow.....

it is a bit strange yes, but I think I can understand.
College football bowl games going up against the NFL isn't a great idea.
You don't want to split your audience.

I suppose....but that means I have to cook tasty treats 2 days in a row! But I love football, so I guess the sacrifice is not too bad. lol

Do you remember the last time the Peach Bowl matchup was better than the Sugar Bowl?
To: Jrabbit
yeah...
I get to go to Cleveland to watch the Browns on Sunday, and then it's back home on Monday to watch OSU kick the living crap out of Notre Dame....

I'd much rather get crushed than lose a game like that.
To: MikeinIraq
The NFL and NCAA have done a good job coordinating with each other.
To: Jrabbit
I do miss all the games on New Year's Day but it is fun having bowl games on every night.
To: mainepatsfan
maybe last year...
after that...
maybe 1982 when it was Iowa and Tennessee

What's the latest on Savage?
To: mainepatsfan
it's up in the air so far as I know.
The one report has him being fired.
The Browns administration came back out and said he isn't going anywhere.....
typicial Browns.
It means that he will probably NOT be fired, but will end up leaving on his own....

The Peach Bowl folks had to be down right giddy over grabbing these two schools. Heck this game should be on ABC.

Who is actually calling the shots?
