Two-thirds, I am guessing that you are below the ae 59. During this past week, I came across a news story, maybe here of FR, that those who are 60 and younger by the year of 2006 can expect to live until about age 1000. The gist was that there are enough medical breakthroughs and knowledge about our bodies, that our health can be prolonged that long.

A second medical news story I read yesterday reveals that a new study shows Vitamin D can prevent cancers from forming. While the story stated that Vitamin D can be found in some foods, it neglected to say (although it could be inferred from the last two paragraphs) that a major source of Vitamin D is sunlight.

Yes, you guessed right, Jem! Age 1000, here I come! LOL!

Yes, I know about vitamin D being best absorbed from the skin which generates it from sunlight. I get lots of sun in the summer. Now, if I can just avoid getting melanoma in my vitamin D-enriched skin!

A GOOD A.M. TO YOU ALL FROM THE MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST, USA, BRUISED BUT NOT BROKEN, BAD BRUISED TOO.

ACLU getting some bad press, ain't gonna do no good, that is one organization that needs sent to Iran, for good.

I start my tests today, then tomorrow get a stomach scan. Getting old is heck and if I sneeze D has me at a doctor. Bless her, she takes good care of me.

Talking about a neighbor, I let him use my NEW tractor to pull some trees to be picked up, he has bunches of them too, yesterday he calls and asks me to help him hook up a tractor rake, followed by 'Merry Christmas'. The rascal got me a tractor rake, can you believe it?? I feel bad about taking it but he insists.

Gotta get ready to go so, check in when I get back. Have a good day, a safe one.

Do you mean "tractor rake" as in Hay Rake?

I didn't know you have a lot of hay, but if you do, I'm sure it is a welcome gift. I know people who love to rake hay. They say it is the most relaxing thing they do on the farm.

Wishing you the very best with your tests.

There you go again. Stealing someone's thunder. LOL

Good timing on the doc's appt. and hopefully you'll get something that helps. My mom had a fever last week and took Zicam and it worked, amazingly enough.

Alert to pet owners: Tainted food Diamond Pet Foods has killed three dogs in our town. There is a recall going on.

OK, Hay rake, not for the hay but pine needles and leaves, it is a problem here. pine needles we use around our bushes but only so much, unbelievable how mush we get up. Hoping it piles up the pine cones as well. We also will use it for raking the grass when we cup it when it is high. I can help a lot of my neighbors with their little farms now after I cut the grass for them.

I was shocked, told him he did not have to do that as the tractor he needed to get his trees up and it was out of friendship I let him use it. He is the person wiring my 'shack in the back' for me, one heck of a man.
