Rush has long maintained that the RATS revealed how much they hate anybody who disagrees with them with the Bork nomination in '86(?). Others say it was the GOP takeover in '94 that drove them over the edge. Still others say it was Algore's failure to steal the election in 2000. I think it goes back to George McGovern getting hammered by Nixon in '72. Not only did their defeastist candidate get annihilated at the polls, but it was at the hands of their own Darth Vader, who had exposed Alger Hiss as a commie, Richard M. Nixon.

I hate to say, Dog, but IMHO, NOTHING will happen to these news editors if an attack takes place. The CRAT will cover everything, and the sheeple are stupid enough to swallow it all because the MSM proclaims it.

I was just discussing this on the phone with a friend of mine. We wouldn't be a bit upset to see an FBI raid on the New York Times building, with confiscated files and computers and a big old crime scene tape stretched around the entire building.

GOOD A.M. TO ALL FROM THE WARM MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST, USA, BRUISED, A LOT WORSE THAN I THOUGHT IT WAS BUT NOT BROKEN....

OK, NYT, assisting the enemy (terrorist) with their front page, it is not loose ships sinks ships but will destroy cities and kill millions of people. Something has got to be done to rein them in, they are dangerous. It goes to show you that the hatred of George W. Bush is more than the safety of our citizens. AND, cheered on by the dims. SOMEBODY has got to take charge and stop them. Time for the pubs to stop being 'Mr. nice guy'.

Then there is the ACLU, a 'use to be' attorney for them is talking and it is telling the true side of them and how they are fleecing US. Another dim supporter and they support them.

On the brighter side, skunk 15 dogs 0. One of them really got sprayed last night and close to the house, I am going out to find out which one and then try to get the smell off of the victim. I was right outside of the back door and it is rough here today.

Got to go tomorrow and give some blood for some test, then Friday go for some kind of scan on my tummy as it has really been hurting me. I amd getting to be the doctors best friend.

Can't understand it, both D's going to WalMart and will not let me go, they say I and a shopper pooper, as soon as I get there I get what I want and want to go home but oh no, that is a no no, got to pick up everything in the store and looking at it, you know, that 'woman thing'.

Here is praying that all have a good day, a safe one and one that is filled with love, it is catching.

Nor would I be upset. Unfortunately, I think we have a long, long wait.

Every day that the liberals lament the presidency of Geoerge Bush, they should instead be thanking God for him. If someone with my temperment were in charge, they would all be cooling their heels in a federal detention center.

got to pick up everything in the store and looking at it,

This is called shopping, Toby. What you do is called retreiving.

There is a vast difference. You know what you want, you go to Wally World, you get what you want, you pay, and you get out the door fast.

The ladies need to go, inspect, compare, assess and consider whether or not they might possibly need these things some time in the future.

My Gramma used to say: "If you can't stand the heat in the kitchen, stay out of the kitchen".

I will say, "If you can't stand the hubbub in Wally World, stay away from Wally World."

I'm not convinced we won't get to witness that, yet. GWB and Karl Rove are very patient men. They may still drop the ax.

My concern is they will wait too long and the trial will lap over into the next administration. I don't see a strong conservative in the wings who could carry on. My worst fear is Bush would get the ball rolling and then the Pubbies would not get a good enough candidate to succeed him, and all his effort would be for naught.

Adding a few pix w/commentary as I have posted nowhere else my Christmas day happenings & will ping a few friends. . I have been a bit down this Christmas r & wasn't going to go anywhere but glad my long time FRiend Paul literally dragged me out.

Other add ons to the homemade Basil pasta for Vegetarian Christmas dinner at friends... Brushetta (sp?) with homemade foccacia bread & five various toppings. We broiled our own mixtures at table. Between the luscious salad & this brushetta, i was full.. but did continue to eat anyway!!!! diet again in 2006

but also

Stuffed mushrooms .. 4 different stuffings. I don't do mushrooms but enjoyed the stuffings. The dog got the scraps. They cook meat /chicken for their boxer. twice a day he gets chicken/pasta & leftover veggies/salad for his meal!.

We had the mini Fresh peppers .. red, yellow & orange with a cream cheese, veggie filling. Fresh mozzarella/capers. Amazing salad w/spring greens & lots of goodies added.

With the basil pasta was served olive oil, shredded Parmesan & some other optional add ons

No coffee but the wine was a 94 Cabernet and we continued with it with the decadent chocolate dessert tray that mom (chemistry teacher) and two daughters had done the past few days.

He is Irish & she is half Cherokee & half English. I took a lot of pix as I always do & they were thrilled as some I took of their family by the tree did turn out well. We downloaded all pix onto their computer & he was like a kid, printing out the various pix of his family, pets, decorations etc. Before I left many of them were on the refrigerator

this is the older daughter. She reads & is proficient w/parents advanced chem books & analytical mathematics books. (dad is PhD researcher & mom teacher at elite prep school). she has also developed her own alphabet, sounds & language. She is 11. Is a dancer & into organic gardening, plant breeding and animals. they have a lot of pets also.

this is the introvert daughter.. the mysterious one. She understands the chemistry in cooking. hmmm. She is at 9 a proficient gourmet cook, artist & can write HTML code. She went to my FR profile page & knew all of the references/famous people. her vocabulary put me to shame.. I realized she was as the youngest one there much smarter than me!!!! I realized that all of them were smarter than me (well, maybe I was a little ahead of the gerbils) ... but they were all gentle & humble so it was great

the family. Cindy is a beautiful woman from Michigan & met her hubby when he was her college prof. . She studied the same Russian ballet that I did & was also with the same ballet company as me (but several decades later). She is as crazy about movies as I am & probably attends as often

Paul & me. Paul has been a family friend for decades. Canadian, apolitical, never married, went thru Catholic seminary but stopped short of vows. has PhD in chemistry but degrees in engineering also. A ballroom dancer, avid cyclist (at age 78 rode about 2000 miles this past year) and composes classical type music. We share in first two actitivies but my expertise in the music is sitting with him at Severance for Cleveland Symphony! He was one of the few I invited to Oliver's private funeral as he has been on regular intense hikes with us over the years. I was with Paul in Canada a few years back when his 100 year old dad died. Ihelped him with a lot of the work invovled in estate disposition. His dad owned a steel mill in suburban Toronto. Paul is among my best friends.

I share your concerns, but I have to believe that both the President and others in the administration know the dangers.

I would pay cash money to see him call out the criminal rats at the State of the Union and have some of them led off into custody. That's in my fantasy world, however. LOL!

I need to run over and help the neighbors for an hour or so. BBL.

What an absolutely delicious thought.

(I am your neighbor to the West. I'll put the coffee pot on. I really could use some help today.)

A bit of good news: Poland postpones Iraq withdrawal

CNN is running with an attack on rendition....

Apparently there's been another leak about renditions. Grrrrr!

Good morning all. I'll be offline for a few days starting tomorrow. We are taking daughter to Mexico for New Years. Mr. Prairie will have his computer (company policy that it goes everywhere we do, after 9-11) but I'm uncertain as to internet connection. Will check in as I can.
