I just dug up all the old Dinkelmeyer cartoons out of the closet and I've been reading them. I am amazed how poorly drawn and incredibly silly they are.
Still, I think this may be fun.

Well, some forewarning...
The first ones are not very good. They're poorly drawn and the writing is barely legible (I'm having to slap subtitles on them). But it gets a lot better as time goes on.

Morning PC..
If you are doing the HS ones on Friday & the donkey, shark etc on Tuesday that would be good.
An idea PC if you have the time..
Take your old ones AS IS & put it in AS IS ..... BUT ALSO redo them with your improved skill & the sharper lines & better lettering (maybe keyboard)..
Part of the fun in this weekend offering would be seeing your original & how you have improved. If you can handle it perhaps open the column up for ideas for the donkey/shark/elephant series.., suggestions from others who are perhaps artists or cartoonists (we do have several good ones here at FR.. Linda, Dan, among others)
It could also be the idea thread where non artistic folks could throw in their ideas for a good cartoon etc & you could start a list.. If you use their idea.. put some coding/keying in w/screen name OR add the screen name somehow as a side character. We would always know that the suggestor as across the chest of one of the side characters is a screen name written
