I'm up for a few minutes...I hope only for that.
We had a great day...yesterday...WE played board games...Clue..Scrabble....and some other game...can't remember. Being the bloodhound kind of person I am...I won all the Clue games....Jane...you could relate. ;-)
Scrabble...not half bad, but I had Z Q and X....With very few vowels. Lots of "family" attention....yesterday.
I'm still stuffed and will prolly not eat til next weekend. ;-)
And you HB..no fair....surfing...?? is that anything like........shoveling...???
LOL
I know you know each. That's what makes it fun.
I haven't eaten since.....about 2 yesterday afternoon..' cause...I ate so much and now my tummy is rumbling...
G will take Sarah to work....while I make a breakfast pizza...wish me luck...I've never done it before, but it looks fairly simple....lots of egg...lots of sausage...lots of cheese..and of course lots of coffee..not on the pizza.
Good morning! Sounds like you had quite a family Christmas!
lysie did it with a wrench in the library
Christmas here was wonderful with Miss Lily - she is feeling much better, was all smiles and full of good cheer. Laurie came up to the Care Center and we played Santa for her for the 3rd time this week.
Back to Laurie's for prime rib and all the trimmings. Our friends Dick and Anne joined us and we too played board games, including our favorite TRIVIAL PURSUIT.
Today, I am going to do some house work!
Love and hugs to all, B
The surfing was even funnier than we thought. The tide has to be low for optimum so the usual heavy eaters were in the water during the normal eating times. Only time I have seen young, healthy boys put off eating. They ended up with cold turkey but managed to get it down.
The San Diego TV station van was parked on the street below for about 1/2 hour focusing on them so they were probably on TV last night. Actually the surf was not quite as good as predicted but they got some good waves anyway.
Always enjoy the extended family although it is not as much fun as we are currently without little ones. Youngest is GD who is 10 (going on 18).
Am enjoying reading of all ATRW gatherings. It is nice to feel part of a caring, extended family.
Must go back to trying to learn Sudoku - current compulsion. Finally got to see Mormon Tabernacle Choir last night, just as we got back - they are so wonderful.
