The pealed the bells, both loud and deep,
"God is not dead nor doth he sleep!
The wrong shall fail, the right revail,
With Peace on Earth, Good Will to Men."

"Making Children Cry: How the Unions Stole Christmas" is a column at Townhall.com that is a close rival in ugliness to that one yesterday about the substitute teacher telling 1st grade children that there is no Santa Clause.

In their selfish and arrogant pursuit of their own agendas, they have evidently forgotten that Christ said, "In as much as ye have done it to the least of these, ye have done it unto ME."

Good Morning and Merry Christmas.

I hit the floor running (well, hurrying, anyway) this morning and have my cooking preps underway.

I'll make a list of things to do and check them off as they are accomplished.

I'm going to go check the news and will stop back in as I have time.

Merry Christmas!

32 degrees at the moment, and rather balmy for Christmas Eve.

I remember hearing a story years ago, on Wisconsin Public Radio, about a elderly gentleman who wrote a letter to the U.S. Navy.

He went on to talk about how he and his family were stranded in France for the holidays because of bad weather. They wound up at a rather non descript cafe, on Christmas Eve, because of a break down of the bus that was taking them back to the hotel.

The place was rather gloomy, and people were on edge because of the delays and weather. A flower girl was trying to sell flowers, but not having much luck. The electricity was out, so the only light was candle light. People were getting on each other's nerves, and a husband and wife were arguing at a nearby table.

In walks a United States Sailor. He sees the gloom, and sizes up the situation. He goes over and buys several flowers from the flower girl, and hands them out to all in the restaurant. He then smiles and wishes everyone a Merry Christmas. The sailor then proceeds to go over to a piano, that was in the corner, and starts to play Silent Night. Soon the entire cafe is singing, and tears are streaming down the faces of all who were in the cafe. The owner, taken by the goodwill of this United States sailor, comes out with wine and starts pouring glasses for those all present, on the house. Soon the electricity is on, and the cook rushes in to make sumptous dinners for all stranded, again on the house.

What turned out to be the most memorable Christmas Eve the old gentleman will ever remember, was brought about by one United States Sailor, who had the love and spirit of Christmas in his heart.

May we all carry that love today, and always.

Merry Christmas to my friends here!

Great Story, NY.

The Freezing Rain arrived here in the form of WET Rain, so the **** continues to melt. Things are looking dreary and ugly out there.

I know you don't watch Washington Journal, and I certainly understand why.

For me, it's entertainment, as I get to listen to every American that supports America and I get the great pleasure of SILENCING every filthy CRAT! It is such a good feeling to hit 'mute'! It's the only place I get the right to silence their GARBAGE, and they can't do anything about it.

We'll take wet over freezing anyday.

Do you know why clams don't like to share the water with other creatures?

They are "Shellfish".

Good morning and a very, Merry Christmas from Texas to everyone!

Today & tomorrow wont be typical Christmas weather - even by Texas standards. Nice, mostly sunny with temps in the low 70's.
