Jeff Bewkes, newly appointed president of Time Warner and heir apparent to the mightiest throne in American media, has a substantial history of Democrat campaign contributions. According to NewsMeat, he's donated $35,000 to Democrats, $3,500 to the GOP, and $49,000 to special interests. The few "Republicans" he has donated to are McCain and Bob Packwood.

So they are doomed, then?
Sort of like Dean taking the DNC chair?

That would be my take, unless this guy is prepared to
swallow his personal advocacies and instruct the TW troops
to severely curtail the agenda/bias/spin.

This isn't a secret, he is an entertainment guy moving up, not some typical corporate exec.

His background is show business, which is all liberal.

FWIW, most of the board of directors is liberal democrats too.

The only exception is Dick Parsons, who calls himself a "Rockefeller Republican".

I didn't even know that any republicans referred to themselves that way anymore.

No, I posted it so that there is documentation to back up claims of liberalism, so that claims need not be pulled out of one's ass (as usual).

Documented facts can be a good thing, you know. But hey, sorry for telling you what you already know (but couldn't prove).
