We are at our place up North X country skiing (did you hear the moronic comment by Bryant Gumble about the Olympics?)........it's blizzarding here. 6" so far and snowing big time.

Great. I've never done X country.... I understand it is great exercise but also exhausting. The snowfall sounds beautiful.
What did Gumble say... Gosh, I'm surprised he is able to get any airtime, anywhere. Thought he'd worn out his welcome just about everywhere.

I've been trying to think of someone (female) who sleeps like that.
Nothing so far.

We have done both downhilling and X country for a lot of years. Maybe you remember we went to Utah to downhill last year before Christmas. X country takes a bit of getting used to, but it's more than a work out (and yes it is that), it's an unbelievably beautiful way to appreciate the deep woods in winter. The silence back in the woods during a snow storm is different than anything you will ever experience.

Dontcha luv it ? :) Its about 80 here. All the restaurants with courtyards or outdoor tables are overflowing at today. In fact, I'm not sure who is working. LOL I was just by the lakes and all the jogging paths, the dog walking paths were crowded, tailgaters were everywhere.

Gumble had a rant on HBO sports. Wish I could link it. Just a petty racist comment about the Winter Olympics in his normal crappy, liberal way. If a white commentator said it in reverse about the NBA, their job would already be gone. It was as horrid a racist comment as I have ever heard.
