Could have been given the clearancee due to teh communication gear, or due to various items that had tritium in them here and there.
(I think tritium is a restricted item still, even if it is used in sights and such.)

Nopers.
Never even got to see what one looked like.
Supposedly a RAP round is in a single red container, but I don't know as again I'd never seen one.
But nukes would likely be another reason for a clearance.

I was pitcher, but never catcher.
Of course, I did 'Head Hunter" pitching.
