what do you mean "we"? Is there a mouse in your pocket?
To: nicmarlo; Borax Queen; Lakeshark; EsmeraldaA
Understood.
I will have to look into heading to the theater then.
"Ghost sighted at local theater, owners upset. Inquire about exorcisms."

I don't know if "working together" quite fits what it is they were doing.....LS's *poetry* sounded like you could lift off the tune Raw Hide.....(that should be a MAJOR clue); I don't know how to describe darks contribution.....(for that matter, I'm usually at a loss in describing what he says, lol!)
To: nicmarlo; Borax Queen
Ummmmmm..
You might want to re-check that post....

what you talking about? I didn't make a typo, lol!
To: nicmarlo; EsmeraldaA; Lakeshark; Borax Queen
I was attempting to recreate the ambience of the poetry cafe near me.
(Without the audible bongo drums of course.)

Well...I would say it wasn't overboard....and I'll also say, it wasn't necessary...of course, I'm not a guy, either, but, imho, it wasn't tasteless either, as many are.
To: Darksheare; EsmeraldaA; Lakeshark; Borax Queen
oh....the poetry cafe! of course!! : )
To: EsmeraldaA
I wonder why we needed it though.
It wasn't like the howitzer was classified by any stretch of the imagination.
But hey, it wasn't for me to question the "why" of it.
I was just supposed to dig holes, blow stuff up, huzzah, end of mission.

Okie Dokie, I get it. (I think);-)

In the one Highlander movcie, Highlander III, we cracked a joke about 'jackhammer' because we had the film on rewind.
And the gratuitous sex scene seemed overdone at four times speed.
And comical.
