I heard on FOX News that the union is going to be fined a million dollars for every day they're out. Yikes!
I guess since this is a caption thread, I'd use $$$$$$Zzzzzzzzzzzzz....

What would Reagan do?
I know! Give them 48 hours and fire them and impose a lifetime ban on rehiring.

Don't they look like they deserve a raise?
I think the real question is: Aren't they entitled to a raise?

I turned the TV on this afternoon for the first time in I don't know how long (it's on occassionally for football, Animal Planet or the Travel Channel) and I'm listening to them on Fox going on about the strike.......
OK - I feel for the folks in NYC being inconvenienced by it, and now understand the financial ramifications that I didn't understand during the last strike.......but come on..........when did NYC get infested with so many whining crybabies?
Granted, the last strike was not smack dab in the middle of winter and the Christmas season........but NYers pretty much took it as a part of life - I know I did. I biked or walked and laughed a lot.

Good on you! They should be fired. I'd start with firing those easiest to replace, token booth workers, porters, etc. Every day a new set of workers would be fired.
As many problems as I have with Bloomy, part of me thinks he won't cave on this. He got re-elected with a huge margin, I think he thinks he's got the public on his side. And if this strike goes through Christmas, he will, for sure.
The taxpayers are going to get pretty sick of people who want to get rich driving that train. I actually heard some union guy (not Toussaint, a white guy, Mahoney? Something, sounded like an typical NY Irish type for sure) say he thought they should all make 80 grand a year: 'cause dat's wat it takes to live in Nooo Yawk.
And I lived in NYC my whole life, until I was 30 years old. But these folks are f.o.s. and I am just glad I am not there now.
Stinking commies, they should ALL be fired.
