This just feels wrong. Exactly why I prefer college sports. You don't see any UNC players go to Duke, or any stars from Miami tranfering to Florida State. Hard to go from being someones biggest fan to having to hate him the next year.

Years ago I saw a comedian who also juggled. As pat of his act, he juggled the actual axe that George Washington used to chop down the Cherry Tree! Of course, over the years the wood had rotted away and had to be replaced ... and ... at some point, the axe head had been lost and replaced ... but ... it was the actual axe that George Washington used!

Why root for a professional ball club? The players come and go. They have no loyalty or longevity anymore.

The concept of "the Red Sox" doesn't really exist. It's just a bunch of guys who, this year, played most of their games in Massachusetts. Big whoop.
