I found the posts of fellow cat lovers comforting even though I was unable to even share my loss with others for awhile. I have lost more than one, two died in my arms. The last was the hardest ever. We have a house full of cats..They are all adorable in one way or another...but the loss still hurts. She was my buddy.

Mine, too. I could not get a grip for at least three days, and it still makes me cry when I think about her. All kitties are great in their own way, but some get into your heart more than others.
Boy you sound like just the right person to give me a little advice. I have 3 male (fixed) cats that have found me over the last 4 years----and my problem is they all hate each other. I long for kitty kisses and cuddles, but boy not in this house. I would love for them to get along, but for some reason they hardly tolerate each other. Only saving grace is they're indoor/outdoor and rarely in the house at the same time. Anyway, I sure envy those of you who have housefuls of cats.
